The Rules

These are the Rules for planpot.
Example team info (pre-match)
Team A = £50 (1000 shares @ 5p per share) & Team B = £100 (500 shares @ 20p per share)
Group stage - a win
Losing team's share price reduces by 50% & winning teams share price increases. For example, Team A beats Team B then Team A = £100 (1000 shares @ 10p) & Team B = £50 (500 shares @ 10p)
Group stage - a draw
The teams' value is evenly distributed. For example, Team A = £75 (1000 shares @ 7.5p) & Team B = £75 (500 @ 15p)
Knock out stages
Losing team's share price goes to zero and winning teams increases. For example, Team A beats Team B then Team A = £150 (1000 shares @ 15p) & Team B = £0 (500 shares @ 0p)
Trading cut off
Trading in teams ceases 15 minutes before the start of their matches (other teams can still be traded). Trading commences again once the results are updated on planpot.
When is information on the amount invested on each team available?
The amount invested in each team remains confidential until games start.
Which matches are group stage and which are knock out?
Group games are highlighted with "50%" in the fixtures and knock outs with "100%".
What happens to teams which can't progress from the group stage?
All group games are treated the same regardless of whether the team can progress.
Share splits
There will be no "share splits" for teams which have large share prices.
System glitches
In the unlikely event of system glitches, the webmasters decision is final on how to fix things!
